Why you’ll love it:

This smoothie with mango and berries tastes great! Fourteen gram of natural sugar are found in every 100 gram of mango. Being naturally sweet, they are a great way to make smoothies taste better without adding refined sugar or sugar. Always a winner!

People usually eat mangoes with pineapple or other tropical fruits, but berries also go really well with them! You can have this mango strawberry blueberry smoothie for breakfast or as a pick-me-up in the afternoon. It tastes good and is good for you.

Key Ingredients:

This mango and berry smoothie only needs six things.

Banana: Another easy ingredient for me is a banana. They’re really creamy, naturally sweet, and really cheap! It works best if you use a banana that is fully ripe.

Berries: I made this with blueberries and strawberries since I had them on hand. It should work fine if you have a mix of berries. It might have a different taste, but it will still be delicious!

Fruit: I love mangoes so much! I freeze chunks of mango all the time. Apples have more natural sugar than berries, so you can put them in a smoothie to make it sweet without adding juice or sugar.

Greek yoghurt: For a creamier mix and more protein! I only ever use plain Greek yoghurt that isn’t sweetened.

Almond milk: Any plant-based milk works great, but almond milk is my favourite.

Lemon: A squeeze of fresh lemon adds vitamin C, which is good for your immune system, and makes the fruit taste great.

How to make a mango berry smoothie:

You can mess up smoothies a lot, but they’re easy to make! Just follow these two steps.

  • Put all the ingredients in the blender’s base. Add the banana, mango, blueberries, strawberries, Greek yoghurt, almond milk, and lime juice.
  • Blend: Keep blending until the mixture is thick and creamy. I like smoothies that are a bit thick. You can add a little more almond milk and blend it again for a few seconds if you’d like it a little thinner.

Smoothie Making Tips:

Use a high-speed blender if you can. It costs more to buy a high-speed blender, but it’s worth it. They have strong motors that make the blend very smooth.

Swap out half of the almond milk for orange juice if you’d like sweetness in your smoothie. Adding orange juice to a smoothie is a healthy way to make it sweet without using white sugar.

It’s easy to change up smoothies! I like mine pretty thick, but you can make it thinner by adding a little more liquid at the end.

Storing Tips:

  • Smoothies can be kept in the fridge for up to 24 hours, but I personally don’t like to. After that, they don’t feel as cold and don’t taste as good.
  • Making smoothies into Popsicle is my favourite way to store them! When I have smoothie left over, I put it in a Popsicle mould, add sticks, and freeze them for later. Smoothie pops are their favourite treat!
