Step-by-Step Guide to Making a Strawberry and Banana Mix Smoothie

Step-by-Step Guide to Making a Strawberry and Banana Mix Smoothie: It was the first smoothie recipe I ever learned how to make. That was back in high school, when smoothies were all the rage and everyone was blending like crazy to make their favourite smoothie shop drinks at home. And even after all these years, it’s still one of my favourites.

Really, strawberries and bananas were made to go together. In a smoothie, their sweet tastes go well together. You can use either dairy or plant-based milk to make this strawberry banana smoothie. It is deliciously smooth, creamy, and satisfying when mixed with a handful of ice.

You can add any of your favourite things to your smoothie to make it stronger, like protein powder, fresh greens, or seeds. You can also try different things and make it taste better by adding fresh ginger or other fruits and vegetables.

You can really get creative with this base strawberry banana recipe if you want to try new things with it. Or it can stand the test of time by itself! Pick anything that sounds good, and let’s make a strawberry smoothie!

Strawberry-banana smoothie ingredients:

You will need the following things to make this strawberry banana smoothie:

Frozen strawberries: You can use any kind of frozen berries you have on hand instead of this type of strawberry.

Banana: I only use fresh bananas most of the time. You can skip some of the ice in this recipe, though, if you have frozen banana slices on hand.

Milk: You can use any kind of milk for this recipe, like almond milk, cow’s milk, or oat milk.

Ice: As much as you need to get the smoothie consistency you want.

Making a Smoothie:

It’s really easy to make this strawberry smoothie recipe! To sum up…

Mix the ingredients: Put everything into a blender.

Blend: Pulse until it’s smooth. You can add a little more milk or water if your smoothie seems too thick. (Add more banana or strawberries if it seems too thin.)

Do it: Then pour the smoothie into one or two glasses to serve.Have fun!

Smooth Recipe Variations:

If you think of other changes that might taste good, feel free to try them out with this base recipe! Here are some of my favourite smoothie boosters:

Greens: To make this a green smoothie (or technically a brown smoothie), I almost always add a big handful of fresh baby spinach or kale at the same time.

Ginger: I also like to add about an inch of fresh ginger to this smoothie to give it a little extra kick.

Vanilla: Or, you can add about a half teaspoon of vanilla extract to make it taste even better.

Greek yoghurt: If you want to make this smoothie a little creamier, you can also add 1/2 cup of plain (or vanilla) Greek yoghurt.

Powders: Add a scoop of protein powder, acai powder, or maca powder if you want to.

Seeds: I also usually put in at least a tablespoon of ground flax seeds, chia seeds, or hemp seeds.
