San Antonio Breakfast Restaurants

Great breakfast and blue and white decor characterise this Midtown bakery and cafe. Good pastries and breakfast sandwiches include egg, roasted tomato, bacon, and fontina cheese. After your meal, try a matcha latte or affogato, house-made vanilla ice cream with double espresso.

Extra Fine

Select Pancake Joe has 20 pancakes: peanut butter banana, cheesecake, and double chocolate chip. Besides pancakes, the restaurant serves spicy chicken frittatas, crispy bacon waffles, and grilled cheese French toast sandwiches.

La Panadería

In San Antonio, traditional panaderías serve sweet pastries like pan dulce. The bakery-cafe concept of La Panadería has been replicated in three cities. The main attraction at La Panadería is the pan dulce display, with other menu highlights including chorizo and egg torta, 'El Favorito' breakfast sandwich, and tres leches croissant.

Patty's Taco House

Patty's, a Southeast Side staple, has all the morning Tex-Mex you want. The taco house's breakfast tacos, chilaquiles, huevos a la Mexicana, and huevos rancheros are delicious. Additionally, daily specials are valuable. Patty's new website accepts online orders for fast, easy service.

Magnolia Pancake Haus

Magnolia Pancake Haus has been a city favourite since 2000, and for good reason. Magnolia's speciality is buttermilk pancakes, but "The Magnolia Breakfast" plate includes eggs made your way, your choice of breakfast meat, hash browns and pancakes, toast or grits.

Con Huevos Tacos

What can I say about Con Huevos that’s not in a Netflix docu-series? This local gem opened in 2019 and serves San Antonio's best breakfast tacos with homemade flour and corn tortillas. The signature tacos, like Sonia, have beautiful Spanish names and include beef picadillo, potatoes, lettuce, tomato, and crema on flour.
